Why I chose to play this game

I’m a sucker for theme and this game got lots of it! The box cover is what initially attracted me, but also the board-tiles, the red and yellow fire dice and the card art work are all beautiful.

In Dead men tell no tales (DMTNT) you are boarding a pirate ship named Skelit’s Revenge in a coöperative adventure to find loot while battling skeleton crew, fighting fire and avoiding collapsing rooms.

First impressions

The third edition (2022) is upgraded from the earlier versions. I highly recommend getting it, because it contains cool miniatures and some other extra’s. Like in other coops, pandemic for instance, you start of thinking everything is going well. Then… all of the sudden… things go bad… very bad!

Every player has a physical dial to track fatigue and battle stats.
