Why I chose to play this game
I’m a sucker for theme and this game got lots of it! The box cover is what initially attracted me, but also the board, consisting out square tiles, the red and yellow fire die and the art work are all beautiful. In Dead men tell no tales (DMTNT) you are boarding a pirate ship named Skelit’s Revenge in a coöperative adventure to find loot while battling skeleton crew, avoiding fire and collapsing rooms.
First impressions
The third edition (2022) comes with a few extra’s including awesome miniatures for each player pirate.
