Board Games

Board games are awesome!

To play literally means “to engage in an activity for enjoyment”, this means that playing a board game is just pure fun! As an IT-developer at that time, I was looking for a way to  move away from the computer and found board games. Of course I played games like monopoly and stratego as a kid, but I never knew the modern world of board gaming. In 2014 I was introduced to cooperative board games and was blown away! I played D&D: Legend of Drizzt and Pandemic that night and loved the thematic feel and couldn’t quite grasp how a board game had a built in artificial intelligence to beat you game after game. I went to the local game stores and after that to the biggest board gaming event in the world Essen Spiel. I now own over 300 board games with many expansions and give my opinion on them here below:

Build an engine by puting new locations in play, hire leaders and send workers off to gain resources.
